Adam and Katie Thomas were looking to upgrade their paver patio that was over twenty years old so they came to Seiler’s for help in implementing their vision for their new outdoor living space.
“Our existing patio was large, used small pavers, and was uneven due to a tree planted in the center of the patio. We needed a project to remove the tree roots and install a new, flat patio with updated style,” said Adam Thomas. Our sales and design professional, Darren Shick led the design and installation process, walking the Thomases through the draft of the design to help them visualize the new patio. “We placed each of the samples against our old patio, which helped a bit, but it was also recommended we visit Semco to view the pavers in a different environment. We were able to view the different paver styles and colors and we chose the colors which we felt were best for us. Darren helped tremendously with advice for style and color,” Adam explained.
Darren and our construction team then demolished the old patio and added a new base. Installation of the new patio and plantings took about two weeks and because the Thomases were out of town during the final days of installation, they got to come home to the best Christmas present, a brand new outdoor living space!
“The project went great and we have a beautiful new patio! The communication from the team was fantastic. The project foreman updated me every day with progress and/or pictures,” Adam said.
