Employee Spotlight: Kent Teague

Our dedicated maintenance field supervisor, Kent Teague, brings an impressive 33 years of industry experience to the team. A proud graduate of Morehead State University, where he studied agriculture business, Kent has previously worked as a production manager for both Duke Realty and Natorp’s Inc.

Kent loves his current role, especially because it allows him to mentor and teach new generations of landscapers about the complexities and advancements in the industry. He notes that landscaping has evolved significantly over the past 30 years, transitioning from basic lawn care to a sophisticated field that requires specialized knowledge for managing landscapes effectively.

Born and raised in West Carrollton and Sardinia, Ohio, Kent had early aspirations of becoming a farmer, driven by his love for watching things grow and being outdoors. This passion naturally led him to his current field, where his expertise continues to shine.

Family is incredibly important to Kent. He and his wife, Tammy, have shared their lives together since 1986. They are proud parents to Tasha and twin boys, Richard and Craig, and enjoy spending time with their granddaughter and grandson. Outside of work, Kent cherishes attending his granddaughter’s sporting events.

When it comes to downtime, Kent has fond memories of a cruise to the Bahamas, considering it his best vacation ever. His favorite meal is a classic slice of pizza, and when it’s time for movies, he loves "The Godfather” and “The Godfather Part II.” A loyal fan, Kent roots for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds.

People might be surprised to learn that Kent once served as the Southwest Vice President of the FFA in 1980 and 1981. His commitment to leadership and mentorship has clearly been a long-standing trait.

With his depth of knowledge and passion, Kent Teague is an invaluable asset to our team. We’re thrilled to spotlight his contributions and look forward to seeing the impact he'll continue to make.
